The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication counseling, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care. The role involves interacting with patients, healthcare providers, and managing pharmacy operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications, review and verify prescriptions, prepare, and label medications.
- Provide detailed medication information, including dosage, administration, side effects, and interactions; address patient questions and concerns.
- Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) to optimize outcomes and prevent drug-related issues; monitor patient profiles for interactions and contraindications.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and pharmacy laws; maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and stocked; report maintenance issues as needed.
- Oversee shop displays and the replenishment process.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Pharmacy with a valid pharmacist license.
- Minimum of 2 years in retail pharmacy.
- Proficiency in Arabic, French, and English.
- Effective oral and written communication; able to coordinate with various management levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Email.
- Results-oriented, reliable, and trustworthy with strong problem-solving skills. Capable of handling stress diplomatically, working both independently and in a team, and managing tasks efficiently. Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.
