This supplement is an excellent source of omega-3 nutrients, particularly DHA which contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision.
The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250mg of DHA. DHA is the most abundant 'good fat' found in the membranes of the brain and eye.
DHA and EPA contribute to the normal function of the heart. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250mg of EPA and DHA.
Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Suggested Daily Intake: Adults and children aged 5 years and over: 2 teaspoons (10ml) per day with food or drink. Children 3 - 5 years: 1 teaspoon (5ml) per day with food or drink. Shake bottle before use.
Taking this product for the first time: The amounts should be doubled for the first 12 weeks. The higher initial daily intake is recommended to help optimize the body's store of important nutrients. The amounts may be taken half in the morning and half in the evening.
