The herbal, spicy scent of thyme is so pleasant that the plant takes its name from the Greek root thyo, "to smell good, to perfume."

Present in sunny scrubland and stony terrain, thymol thyme is cultivated in France. Morocco and Spain distil species related to this shrub.

This essential oil is HEBBD (Botanically and Biochemically Defined Essential Oil).

Take a maximum of 1 drop of thyme essential oil with thymol 2 times a day on a Puressentiel neutral tablet (or 1 teaspoon of honey, olive oil, or 1/4 sugar). Do not use pure thyme essential oil with thymol without a carrier, or mixed with water. For other usage tips, ask your pharmacist for advice. Equivalence: 1ml = 32 drops.
