D&Derm Vita C Forte Lotion with Retinol is a lightweight face lotion that is specially designed to brighten skin tone, increase skin luminosity , and help reduce pigmented lesions. Vita C Forte Lotion uses a skin-lightening derivative of Vitamin C. Known as VC-PMG (INCI name Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate), along with Alpha-Arbutin. Alpha-Arbutin is the enriched form of Arbutin, the botanical version of hydroquinone.

Alpha-Arbutin has significant ability to inhibit tyrosine formation on skin and help clear dark spots. But does not contain the toxicity of hydroquinone, which makes it excellent for long-term treatment of hyperpigmented skin.

Complementing Vitamin C and Alpha-Arbutin are Retinol, the polyphenol-based White Tea extract, as well as Hyaluronic Acid and the botanically-based lighteners Mulberry Root, Songyi Mushroom and Gamma Oryzanol for added performance.
